What we did, is we would go on the tire swing and get it going really fast in a circle (not the ones on a tree, the ones at the playground) and then stand up and let go with our feet and hang on with our hands so we'd be flying. The only danger was slipping and hitting the metal support poles.

Seeing as I am a Calgarian, I feel the need to explain about the bridge the first guy was talking about. We have a law that says 1% of public project money has to be spent on art. So, in order to obey that law, a 17 meter tall blue metal loop was built on the side of a bridge with a street light on top. It is completely pointless and it cost 470,000$. A lot of people got upset about that.
