I was thinking the same thing... pretty sure "un-ionized" is made up. I feel confident in that respond, though I'm not a chemist, I am a chemical engineer...so that's got to count for something.

Not true. I don't miss having no money, being stressed everyday and having unrealistic standards that I'm suppose to meet!
But i'm sure some people do miss it, just not me at all. I'm happier working 9-5 at a job I enjoy and not having many worries anymore.

You won't ever use it. I'm an engineer and I thought when I left college I 'might' use it, but you don't. You use computers to do all your calculations instead, but having an understanding and being able to apply these equations/theories/formulas helps you to understand what variables effect each otherand THAT is the knowledge you have a little better chance of using.

I want to know how we got stuck with this Fahrenheit scale...it makes no sense in science at all.
I'd be happy to switch, as I use ISO standards every day anyways, so I know most conversions if needed. but I don't think its going to happen for quite a while.
