I think it's a baby armadillo. Pangolins have that tannish coloring, though I believe they're more elongated. They also have a longer tail, and some of them can hang from trees with it!

I've just started learning some really basic stuff for converting my sketches to digital linework. Someday I hope to be able to do a lot more with color, shading, lights, etc.

United Way around here has something not too far off the mark. If you need just about any kind of support, they'll hook you up. I think it's 2-1-1 for them.
