If you ask a priest to bless something meaningful to you, they do it. In this case, Pope Francis didn't care what the man that asked him to bless his parrot did for living. The act of asking that means that he has faith, so that makes him close to God.

We Catholics believe in Father, Son and Holy Spirit; the difference between us and the rest of religions is that we pray also to angels, saints and to Virgin Mary. It doesn't mean we worship them, but they are like role models to us. What I believe is that no matter what color or beliefs you have, we are all the same and God will love you no matter what.

I think it's ok for someone to feel confident about how they look. What I believe it's wrong is the fact that she's calling skinny people Sluts, Ratchets, Crack Heads... I mean, if she really felt confident about being fat, she wouldn't be talking bullshit about others. Right?
