The first thing my history teacher taught us was "Human nature is evil" and honestly I think she's right. We've got good people in the world, but most people will resort to evil instead of good. ex. if someone left their wallet on a bench, it would most likely be stolen, not returned. Its seen all throughout history...

one time my pawpaw found a baby possum... I hate rodents so I was like "oh hell no!" but then I looked at this little thing and I swear it was the cutest thing I've ever seen. I named him curly (bc he liked to wrap his tail around my finger and hang down) and I fed him strawberries and he slept in my lap. It was like having a weird kitten. We took him to a wildlife center where they raised him and set him free.
