Um. Sweetheart, I'm Indian and the Hindu scriptures are not peaceful and what they're doing in current times is not peaceful either. Till today members of every religion are responsible for hieneous acts, but not every member is doing it. Do not blame people for sins they have not committed, the sins of one are not the sins of many and vice versa. People are people.

Hey, here's an idea, maybe pick up a book? One about the atrocities your race/ religion/ gender committed and then imagine everyone generalising those acts to you. Yeah, not so fun, I think.
