People date who ever they want to date, Her saying your nice isn't the same as her saying she wants to date you. Maybe you're creepy because you think you deserve to be Dated just coz you're nice or because you think you're better than the guy she actually likes.

People always make fun of you for speaking their language badly. I know because I get made fun of speaking Hindi with an accent and no one has a problem with that. But if you judge someone for their English skills. It's terrible
