The vet we go to gives them something that will make them go to sleep first. That way their last conscious moment will be with the family. I thought that's what all vets do but I guess not...

Most of the time people have the phone volume up as loud as it can go so I can't have a normal conversation with someone in my inside voice. People that are just taking a call in public are usually using their inside voice and not forcing their conversation upon everyone around them.

I do that on purpose so I get the opposite! I'll openly and loudly wish that I won't have a million dollars magically appear in my bank account. I'll let y'all know when it works out for me

I was a youth soccer referee for a couple years... The money they pay is not worth the abuse from parents that had NO clue about rules or the sport in general. Yes, referees will make mistakes but always keep in mind that it's not as easy as you think and not a single official in any sport is there that doesn't want to be there. There's a ton of stuff to remember and you need to make tons of real time split decisions that aren't always right
