The philippines is pretty whacked up. My friend is from there and from his storys I can tell that's someplace you don't want to be. During lunch break you can buy and smoke cigarettes and weed at school. Schools don't have air conditioning and If you walk down a street you are guaranteed to see a drunk, a tweaker, or a pothead.

In most classes im the only white kid, so I have been learning spanish from duolingo and bassicaly just sitting in class and mostly hearing spanish
