I would like to be a neurologist. (Honestly idk for sure what i want exactly though *yay* but for now that's my plan). I am starting classes tomorrow, i'm majoring in psychology. What exactly do I have to do in order to become a neurologist? Maybe get a biology minor? Is that too complicated? Halp.

I think that's what guidance counselors are for.

Find a hospital you might work for as a neurologist and ask what degree they'd prefer. You could also look at job postings online and see what degree people are looking for.

Thanks guys! So mickeymouse! The first class was suppossed to be the professor going through the semester's contract (exactly what we're to be doing throughout the whole course). Everytime she read a sentence, she would keep going on and on about what we are going to study and why and how important it is and how interesting it is. She really loves what she does. So much that she doesn't need a book- she is the book. We didn't even get past three sentences because she got so into what she was trying to explain about the study of psychology. Unfortunately, it's my last class of the day so i'll always be very tired for it. But I think I'm really going to enjoy it. She also seems incredibly caring towards her students which is huge. I'll update once I take an actual class.

I'm starting to think it's just the way the class is being given. It's ridiculous. They gave me 15 theories to read for monday (90 pages in total) and also the first chapter of the book. 240 pages in total. And it's stuff some people know by logic nowadays (except most theories contradict themselves with others due to the publication dates so we have to watch out for that). It's very extreme considering it's for a bachelor's degree you can't do anything with yet. And i haven't been taught ANYTHING. Only from the thing's that i've read. We never discuss actual class material. Only things we'll "learn in the future"...what
