No. Fucking. Shit.

Yes it is. Things are considered wet when they have water sticking to them (Water is a very sticky molecule) and water happens to stick to itself! So a single molecule of water is not wet, but multiple molecules close together (Such as in a cup) are actually wet!

Thank you. that's what I thought but people kept telling me that I was wrong because "google said so"

That is interesting.
sir_spiderman · 6 years ago
Things being interesting is merely a result of me saying it.

suddenly i am bored. :p

Try to remember that you're alive. You can easily get lost in it.

kidding. But good idea

We use wet to describe water on things or in things... So does that mean water is wet to us only??? What defines wet!??? Ohmygosh I think way too much about these things.

So Who's wet? ;)... I mean. What's wet? The Water, the juice, etc. *slight nervous laugh*
frozen_chick123 · 6 years ago
I still think that as individual molecules water is not wet but when 2 or more molecules are touching each other they are wet.
wimsyexpergefactor · 6 years ago
Ya but in who's perspective does it become wet!? The water is wet because it is touching the water??? Why does this happen in my braiiiin
sir_spiderman · 6 years ago
If a water molecule is touching another then those molecules are considered wet. A single molecule is not wet because being wet is essentially having water stick to you and there would be nothing else sticking to that single molecule.

Ah thank you! Brain strain saved ;)
