Are they dailies or what?

I’ve been wearing my glasses for so long that I forgot glass can be clean

*dirtier than some 12-year-olds*

*puts them back on, knowing good and damn well my vision is obstructed by my blurs and spots*

Yup. There’s a small scratch in the exact middle of one of my lenses, so if I clean my glasses, I notice the scratch, but if the lenses are dirty, I can’t see it. So...yeah

Every time I get a new pair of glasses I think, "Wow, I can see so well with this pair!"
When in reality the change is just because it's clean.

My glasses are perpetually smudged. Always.

I can't stand glasses. They get dirty, fall off, break, and get scratched. I just wear contacts. If you buy a decent pair then you can wear them for weeks. I forget that I even have contacts sometimes.

I wear glasses because they make me look better.
Without them, I look like a tall, acne ridden monkey.

When I was growing my hair out, I wore glasses and my hair looks greasy if I go even a day without washing it. So I was a full fledged nerd for a while. Luckily I look good with long hair, I think, without looking like a nerd. I have a bit of a resting bitch face or a neutral expression, but I'm working on that. My face muscles actually hurts because I've been trying to rid myself of that. It feels like I've been chewing gum for a few hours...

Haha, well, I don't like contacts and I don't look half bad with glasses

Contacts are really not bad. I've never had a single issue with them. The only two things about them is learning to put them in which takes around five minutes and putting them in backwards as they will be mildly irritating if you do. But it's easy to remove them and fix them.

Tried both contacts and glasses, contacts win for me hands down. But both suck when you fall asleep with them in/on

Isn’t contacts really painful after a while of wearing?

My eyes tend to get a little dry if I wear them for more than 24 hours straight but not painful at all

It depends on your brand. Some brands are only one day which means you take them out every night, but you can easily get one that can last a week or month. The sleeping issue is only for a few days. Basically, your eyes are not used to having them in so you may get a bit of sleep on them that slides right off. After a week of wearing them, I haven't had any issue with them.
