I got a package that was supposed to be delivered today, and was even put on the fucking truck and was on route, and now the tracking site tells me that "Oops, we can't get it to you today, wait two days and see if it turns up." I fucking hate the goddamn Amazon Christmas rush. And what kicks my teeth in even further is a package from UPS, the shipper supposed to deliver my stuff, turned up, and had something else for someone else. How the fuck does a package that was loaded onto a truck at 8-10 am miss a delivery window of 9am-7pm?

I looked it up and it's a 26 minute drive for fucks sake. I got to take a day off to wait for it and it didn't fucking show up.

Dang that sucks. Really nothing else to say. Something like that happened to me but it wasn’t that bad, it was just the package wasn’t handled with care. The UPS truck was parked outside and there walked up to my doorstep (I have some rando set of stairs for some reason in front of my house) and they didn’t even go up the stairs they just threw the package onto my doormat. Like they didn’t know if it was some glass in there.

Overall UPS and Amazon can be a bad thing from time to time.

I prefer eBay. You don't have to worry about the company being too busy and as long as you choose your buyer wisely then you don't have to worry about getting scammed.

Amazon is ALWAYS messing up my package deliveries. Last year I had ordered a bday gift for my husband. It made it to some carrier facility within a few miles of our house then got sent to some other state and I had to wait 3 weeks for it to circulate back. They've messed up almost every delivery to my house this year. Amazon does have good customer service though. If you make a big enough fuss and express how disappointed you are they may give you an inconvenience credit of $5...not a lot, I know, but it's $5 off a purchase so that's kind of cool. I've gotten $45 in credit total just from complaining
