If it doesn’t get better by the end of the day, seek medical advice

I'm using warm salt water now and it seems to be helping a lot although it's making my eyelids a bit sore but I can live with that. :) Thank you @creativedragonbaby if it's not improved by tomorrow I'll try calling the non emergency medical number (no point calling my Doctor as by the time I can get an appointment it'll have cleared up by then).

I have conjunctivitis. what I do (but don't recommend) is rub the shit out of them with wet hands. may hurt your eyes though.

I've been washing my eyes out with water to try flush them out too. It does help a bit.

Rubbing them just makes them more irrited.

If the discharge is greenish or yellow it's bacterial. Wash you hands, keep them away and take an antibiotic eyedrop. If it's a clear discharge it's viral(Basicly you are down for four days or so until it runs its course) or allergy. If allergy use an anthistamine. In any case keep your hands away and rinse with cool water. Also to relieve the eyes you can slice potato in thin slivers and place over your eyes.

The goop is white/creamy yellowish. Like the kind you get in the inner corners of your eye that turn into sleepy dust.

Thank you for the helpful advice @this_isntme

That's probably just your sinuses saying "OK, got something in here. The nose isn't doing enough. I'm gonna use these tear ducts." Just your body straightening itself out.
Oh, and wash your hands.

It's not doing it as much now which is good. Trust me I'm washing them lol.

Change your pillow cover every morning as well. Wash the cover in the hottest water for the fabric and a little bleach wouldn't hurt as well if it's safe to use on the fabric. If it's bacterial you don't want to keep coming in contact with it while you sleep. Feel better soon!

I would if I didn't have only two sets of bedding.

But I will use Dettol antibac spray everyday instead. Thank you @scurvyknave :)
