I was in Oatman, Arizona and I was feeding the mules that walk along the streets. They are taken care by the residents that live there, but they also roam free. While I was feeding one it accidentally bit my thumb and broke some skin. I’ve been cleaning it everyday since the occurrence and it looks like it’s almost healed. Should I be worried?

Have it checked up by a doctor. Better to pay a few hundred than a few thousands. Or just wait it out, if it gets worse or you notice something odd get it checked out immediately

Your likely fine. Asides the animal showing signs, if it had rabies you'd already be dead. If it's practical you and see a doctor, but if you feel fine, have no fever, no swelling, discoloration, the area doesn't feel hot, smell putrid, there no ooze or drainage, you aren't fatigued, your heart rate isn't racing... basically if it's been a few days, you feel fine and show no signs of infection, it's probably ok. It never hurts to see a doctor, but if the cost or time are too much to bear except in an emergency you are most likely not in danger if you don't have any signs of infection or parasites.
