Just in fucking time.... it was perfect. Like 12 hrs ago, right before my grandma came home... my homie came over, otw he found my fucking cat... using the same path I used when I broke my ribs just in reverse. <__________________< PERFECTION.

I'm so happy for you and the kitty!

\>_>/ Honestly the perfection kind of scares me. I think I may have left my cat at homie's house and literally forgot. I can't see myself doing that though... he has a dog who'd tear her to shreds even if she was just toying with her. None of that matters now though.... cat is back, gmama is back... homie left me some buddha, the family is complete again.

What if all this time your cat smelled you on the path where you'd been hurt and was out there looking for YOU to make sure you got home okay?
.... Alright, probably not. But still, that's awesome! I'm so glad your kitty is okay, and that your grandma is okay, and you're okay as well. :)
Honestly, having them come home is one of the best worst feelings, because you're relieved and disbelieving and a little bit angry at them for being so bloody stupid and making you worry, and just so happy it usually overwhelms you. I think I held my cat for at least ten minutes when he came home, just telling him how stupid he was and how he was never going outside again. Ofc, he did end up going back outside eventually.

Told you to be optimistic ;) Glad the cat made it home okay!

@xvarnah that is not as crazy as it sounds; honestly it was my second thought (the kidnapping being the first)

@jay2327 Aye sir!

Ma'am... Just saying.. But honestly, it's great that the cat was found.

@funkmasterrex gosh, I wasn't even thinking of kidnapping before. I'm so relieved it wasn't that, I know people who have had their pets kidnapped...
You never know! It could be what the cat was doing, especially if you were bleeding or something in that area and it just got sidetracked and then forgot/couldnt find the way home right away. Either way your cat is apparently made of some tough stuff to have gone so long on its own.

Yeah useally when a cat goes missing if it was an inside cat and/or never touched the ground of any place else they will stay close to their home but hide most time time. We had a cat named Tipper and while me and my daughter went to visit my family in Texas my husband said she got out a window and ran off. She was gone a month so we got a new cat. Well 2 days after having the new cat we found Tipper outside hiding. Apparently she been surviving on lizards and gophers.
And she was as round as a ball. lol
But so glad you found the cat in time for your grandma.

@xvarnah catnapping*.... lol... now I'm picturing a cat nip truck with a creep AF driver talkin bout "y'all wanna buy some drugs?!"
xvarnah · 6 years ago
But wait, then what do we call it when someone has a cat nap?
Haha, or "Y'know, I've got this great cardboard box back at my place...."
