My high school just basically revolves around the football team and doesn't care about anything else

^^ Sports. Jesus Christ do they overload on sports.
Also, yesterday we had hamburgers (really just burnt bread and a cold meat patty) and fries for lunch. It kinda sucked.

I hate how it's ran, Plus they put too much emphasis on sports. And because of where i live there is essentially a very small geek percentage for you to friend and only a few clubs are not sports oriented. And i don't like how ornery they are about headphones even in class rooms because it's "bad for there images". And can pep rally's be optional because yet again, if you don't do sports you end up sitting for an hour unable to read.

We had our pep rally yesterday and I wanted to jump off the top of the bleachers because it was so stupid.

Also, although not part of the school system but pretty much all my teachers only listen to country and watch sports. My science teacher took nearly half an hour talking about football

They are VERY sports orientated. You get shuned for not enjoying sports. It sucks because I HATE sports.

Is there favoritism shown?

YES. Today at lunch, I was waiting in line and these 5 football players cut to the front and no one stopped them because tonight is homecoming and I was so pissed because they passed by 2 deans and 4 teachers and they didn't say anything.

OKAY SO I once spent four months in the American school system and I was called to the principal's office because apparently my accent was unsettling to other students and I had to get rid of it.

That sounds about right. Nothing says "Welcome to American hell" like "Assimilate or punished"
