Good job son. lol. I spent a very stressful week of trying desperately to get someone help that they needed. Alcoholic , PTSD , bipolar, depression, anxiety, not to mention health problems. I don't think that in all my life that I have ever been this challenged. Succeeded. Fucking worse than combat. I have been involved with some pretty bad shit in Iraq and Somalia but this was the most difficult and stressfull sitituation that I have ever been in. Last year I save her boy from od'ing. He almost died on my kitchen floor. He was on heroin, alcohol withdrals can be lethal. Scary shit, but good posting. The right word at the right time can be the difference between life and death. Don't give up !

I’m sorry to hear. I have quit a bit experience in the field of talking people out of suicide, so my thoughts are going out to you. OD’ing is another demon on its own. Such a 50/50 with that one. I hope you have a nicer week, and thank you for your service both in combat, as well as on the streets.

We gotta do what we can and thank you for that post, lots of people need help. Help while you can, because you never know what can change or when, and you might need the help yourself. Keep on posting.
