Do you mean to instead of bringing the technology of the present into the past, instead artificially accelerate the development of technology by transporting the ideas that were used to create that technology?

I can see a couple of issues already. First and most obvious - the time continuum will be absolutely destroyed. If you change the past, what happens to the present? Even if this was possible, it would be incredibly dangerous.

Second, it will be very difficult to accomplish. The advancement of technology is always a consequence of social progress, not the cause. If you were by some miracle to introduce the technology of a later stage of civilization into say the Roman empire, it would either be pointless, or would integrate into the existing system in a way that would be meaningless for the civilization as a whole. The greatest catalyst for the development of technology is the Enlightement, for a very simple reason. An individualistic, capitalistic society is the most fertile ground for development of technology, and if you try to advance technological progress before social progress, you may end up with a worse result.

There is a reason everyone is onboard with Kang the Conqueror being the big bad once the FF join the MCU.

Also, @vitklim raises a strong point of social progress. Most of the early inventors invented stuff to satisfy their individual curiosity, it was rarely from a humanity standpoint.

Yeah, Google Babel Fish. But I think it uses Google Translate and we all know how accurate that is. Again, I don't know ho it works.

Just want to add I have the google translated app. It’s a TON more reliable than the online version. The online version mostly has randos confirming its grammar. Online google translate is Wikipedia, essentially
