There is a serious sinus infection going around. I will copypasta my Facebook post as to bring awareness to this awful infection.
This post is meant to serve as an alert to a specific type of sinus infection, and what to do if you have it. I woke up this morning, again, unable to breathe. This is day number 5, the last 3 have been the worst of it. Since this infection seems to be progressive, I am writing this alert for anyone who thinks either they, or a loved one, may have this particular infection.

Firstly, symptoms:
Fever, runny nose, stuffed nose/sinuses, yellow-brown mucus, green mucus on tongue, extreme sinus pressure, sinus headaches, unable to breathe though nose, dry mouth, slight pain throughout mouth, moderate pain behind upper molars, dizziness, drowsiness, and insomnia/restlessness.
Secondly, what to do:
Go to doctor! Do not wait as I did, hoping the infection will clear.
Finally, what you can do in the meantime whilst waiting to visit doctor:
Take various cold medicines, such as medicines that are specifically labeled “severe cold”, suphedrine, and diphenhydramine hcl. If during the day, drink caffeine; if at night, take higher dosage of dextromethorphan HBr. Drink plenty of water, and rest as much as possible.
Seriously, this infection is not to be trifled with, and I do not wish this for any of you. Take care, and stay healthy!

I've had this crap for a week. So far, no family member has picked it up. I am just north of Atlanta. Where are you?

Update: after day 10 is when doctors will prescribe antibiotics, as the 10th day of an infection is the average time in which a viral infection becomes bacterial. You may still visit your doctor and have them prescribe antibiotics early, and then on the 10th day, you can pick them up at your preferred pharmacy.
