@superDave dear God, is banning people (bot to be exactly) difficult? if not, idk maybe you can give someone trustworthy (a few old users or something) admin authority to ban all the bots.
just take time to ban them all till we got a long term solution (reporting and waiting for getting enough reports to ban the bot take forever)
