I used to have this recurring nightmare, where a tornado would come near my house, and I'd have to go out and save my dog, and painstakingly pull myself back into the house and once I got past the basement door, I was safe. After a while I stopped having it. Last night, I had a new one. I would look out my window, and it would be cloudy and a bit windy. Then this... Sort of basketball sized red orb with a grey cloak would be outside my window, and as soon as I looked at it, the wind would slam into the house, and the windows would bend. I would go downstairs and talk to my brother who apparently saved the dogs, and acted like the wind was no big deal. After a bit the house stopped creaking, and the windows stopped bending and shaking. I went back into my room, and looked out the window again. Nothing was there so I went back to whatever I was doing. The orb came back a few times and the same thing kept happening, until I became determined not to look at the orb.

So long as I didn't look at the orb, everything was fine I guess? I dunno, it just felt as realistic as all the tornado nightmares I used to have.

That's pretty strange
What do you think would happen if you did look at the orb?

Well at first I did look at the orb, and every time I did, the wind would start beating against the house, like a hurricane, and wouldn't stop until I went downstairs to talk to my brother.

Any idea what it is about your brother that seems to calm the storm?

I dunno, maybe because he tells me he got the dogs safe, I no longer have to worry about them? In the dream I used to have, before my brother lived with me, a storm would hit, and I would have to go out and save my dog myself, and take him into the basement.

So you're capable of saving your dog yourself?

I dunno, most of the fear was over the storm, you know? I live in an area where we literally have seasons where tornados can be common.
