Been living in the new place for like, 2 weeks now. Couple nights, I've had to turn the heat up, almost as high as 78, and would still be freezing in my room, using all my blankets. As it turns out, the vent in my room has this old timey cover in it, and a little bar that sticks out. You gotta use the bar like a lever to push the panel in, and it lets air flow through the grate. So I've been freezing my ass off this whole time, because I just never looked at the vent.
