Okay so it took me over 10 years(I'm 19) to convince my dad to get me a gaming laptop..and honestly it is kinda expensive (ryzen 7, RTX 3070) but now that I got his permission and the money to do so...it's all out of stock....

This might seem like a stupid brat ranting...but I'm really into gaming and I've never had any Device of my own(parents think gaming ruins life)...not even a psp...so was really excited for this

Man that really does suck. Covid has really been messing with the electronics department because parts for things are just taking waaaaay too long to get anywhere.
The cool thing now is that if you keep saving when things get back in stock you could get a great one!
In the meantime make sure to look at Epic Games and Steam for some great deals on games. Epic Games has free games every couple days and most of them are not half bad [I've actually really enjoyed most of them lol], and I mean, they're free so might as well grow your account haha. Its amazing that you've got the permission now at least though! It really sucks that you can't game now after all this time but you're a few steps closer and that's always great news!

True...dude to the whole silicon chip issue and covid makes it really hard for things to be available.....but yep I'll keep checking both of those for free games(I've been out of gaming for so long that I don't even have an account for those two lol)..

Even I considered getting a new gaming laptop as my current one is starting to show its age, but after some research, I found all of them to be so damn expensive. Even the cheapest one has worse specs than mine in every aspect but the graphics card. So now I'm just gonna wait to finish university and then I'm going to upgrade the computer we have at home. I suggest you wait till the whole shortage is over or get a laptop with a bit lower end specs. Personally I feel like any RTX over 2070 is overkill, but you decided based on what games you're going to play and their requirements

I thought of waiting but I kinda need one for my University and I am going for RTX 3070 before it's actually cheaper than 2070 and more powerful than 2080ti so it seemed to be a better choice.... although I know anything I buy would be a great upgrade since the laptop I work on currently is with 2gb ram and integrated graphics plus we decided that any next device I get...ill have to buy from my own money and there's still 3 years remaining for my uni(so need a good laptop that doesn't get weak for the next 4-5 years atleast)
