So, anyone on here dropped out of High school? I've been told by my guidance counselor that sees no possible way for me to graduate. "Trying isn't good enough, there's no way"

Your counselor shouldn't be saying that ? You can probably also do online highschool ? I'm super far behind but I'm supposed to graduate this year and move in the summer, so I'm actually going to do that rather than give myself an ulcer from trying to finish it all in 6 months. I'll still get a diploma, not a ged, bug at my own pace.

I *was* in online high school, which is why I got behind. It made me depressed, so I quit. The counselor says nothing to help anyone unless they're above and beyond students :p I do have online courses within my school, but they did not give me every class I needed, and didn't put me in summer school, so I either finish the 7 full year online classes on top of the 6 classes I already have or I don't graduate :p

I transferred to online. It's the most depressing decision I've ever made. You have a terrible terrible guidance counselor.

Mental health isn't going to get you into college or get you a job. I took tons of hard classes, and my mental health went to crap, but I got into a good college and am doing well so far. You have to make sacrifices. Also, if you want any kind of job that isn't minimum wage or under the table, graduate high school AT ALL COSTS. I'm being completely serious.

I'll be switching to online soon, I'm not getting credit for my first 2 classes since I'm sick and can't show up to them
