So I've been clean for almost a year now, (it's been just over 10 months) but I can feel myself getting bad again, like any minute I'm going to relapse and I'm not sure if I'll make it out again if I do.
This week in science class we are doing a fish dissection, and honestly I'm terrified of what I might do. I'm going to be in a room full of razors and I don't know what's going to happen.
I'm sorry, I know these posts annoy you guys but I really need some help, I don't want to go back to where I was a year ago.

I hope your teacher won't let you do it while you are in the classroom

Ask if you can be excused from the activity and explain why (spare your teacher the minor details), your teacher should understand if they're a decent human being. If they dont, just participate as little as possible so you can get your grade, and tell the person/people next to you not to let you do anything. I dont care if you've never talked to them or hate them. Tell them to not let you to slip up and how much it would mean to you. Its all about youre safety, so do what you have to and can.

Phanofbands has the right idea. Can you talk to your parents about it? Do they know? If they know about it, maybe they can write a note for you to be excused. Their word might carry more weight with your school. And they might be able to stand up for you more aggressively than you can as a student.

I always hear of alternatives. Like an online anatomy quiz or something. You don't have to tell the teacher why if you're uncomfortable. It is private information. But that activity has been a kinda controversial thing so they should have alternatives! And stay strong! I love to hear about people pursuing happiness!
