Yep

I think thats the point. He's awkward because he feels conflicted. Hes a vader fanboy so he feels like he needs his mask to make himself feel stronger. Thats why Han says "you don't need that"

He's an awkward pale fanboy who also seems to like Rey. When he was all like "I caaaaannnn shoowww you yhe force" all I heard was," I can show you the world..... -whole new world".

I'm a little late here guys but who do y'all think rey is? Luke's daughter, leia's daughter, obi-wan's daughter (apparently that's a theory) or is she someone else's daughter? I think Luke, my dad thinks someone else
ruinedeffect · 8 years ago
I believe the obi-wan theory honestly
texasranger · 8 years ago
Someone explain this obi wan theory to me i haven't heard it.
anonymoushobbit · 8 years ago
Some people think rey is obi wan's daughter, that's really all I know and I think it's pretty far fetched tbh, because obi wan was so old in episode 4 and he did die then so I really don't think there's much of a chance of it
ruinedeffect · 8 years ago
I heard she was obi-wan's granddaughter somehow and that's why you hear his voice in that flashback sequence
purple_sleevies · 8 years ago
Yodas voice is in there as well
ruinedeffect · 8 years ago
Oh yeah forgot about that

Luke's was too

It can't be luke because she thought he was a myth. If Luke really was her dad, she'd recognize him a little bit and would know the name
anonymoushobbit · 8 years ago
She was very young when she was left on jaku, so she probably wouldn't have known his name, only known him as 'dad' and she only saw like very briefly in the last scene, maybe she did recognise him you never know
xshadowxqueenx · 8 years ago
She would of heard his name enough if he really was her dad
anonymoushobbit · 8 years ago
But someone that young doesn't connect a name with the terms mum or dad until a bit later, maybe she recognised the name as someone possibly close to her but dismissed it eventually as just having heard the story many times as a kid

Well she obviously heard of him to think he's a myth. Plus if she was able to remember her parents being taken away at a young age, then she must be able to remember the name of her dad but chooses not to mention it because she rarely talks about her parent's domesticated life as it is
