Film each scene multiple times using different angles and different versions of the line. Have your actors deliver the lines using different tones as well. You can choose which you think is best and what fits well with your film. Also, have fun with it. The more fun you have, the more comfortable everyone will be and the easier it will be to work with each other. Good luck, my friend!

Well it all depends on what kind of movie you're making.

Make sure that there are in between moments, make sure your actors don't rush the dialogue. I hate movies like that.

In terms of acting. The biggest thing is making sure you have your vision of how you want each scene to go. Your job is to direct the actor to make your vision comeplete. Every director is different. Have fun with it and just be yourself. You're gonna crush it! My apologies if you already did it and I'm late to the game.

Thanks very much, all! And no, chuck_bartowski, you're not too late. I have about a year to finish and publish and I just wanted to get a head start. Thank you again!

If you have any questions don't hesitate to ask. If I don't know how to help I have friends in this profession both in front and behind the camera whom can help.
