The answer to the question is yes. I absolutely despise how the games media likes to take toilet breaks on their readers and even had the gall to say "Gamers are Dead."

thirdi - it's the fact that many, if not all, game companies are releasing big AAA titles that are still unfinished and broken as fuck. Fallout 4 suffered from this - myself and many others couldn't beat the main story because of a crash, until a month after the game came out, when Bethesda released the 1.1 patch.
Then there's EA and Star Wars Battlefront, giving you half a game for full price and demanding that you pay almost as much again for more content that should've just been in the fucking base game.
Remember that whole debacle with Batman Arkham Knight on PC? It was so broken that Rocksteady had to pull it from Steam.
Don't even get me started on special collectors editions and preorder bonuses, which are just low cash grabs to take advantage of inexperienced buyers of games and children.

One other thing - Nintendo. Their games are some of the best ever made, but they just don't get online. In the new Smash, they added one good online mode, but the rest all still use timed. Even the ones that are meant to be competitive. I mean, Mario Party 10 came out a few months ago, and THAT doesn't have online. Why didn't Mario Party 8 have online?!

Rant over. I guess you could say I love games, but I hate the people who sell them to me.

Nintendo doesn't have internet gameplay because they don't have that many programmers for it. I think from a report I've heard that they do plan on MASSIVELY increasing that sector of their development team.
