I just need to go on a quick rant. In my English class this year we have to read Macbeth. We've already read it last year but last year I had academic instead of applied English whereas this year I have applied. It annoys me just because I already know what happens. So here's a question for ya. Do you think that each grade should have set books to read that can't be used in different grade?

is that not what it is already? that there are assigned books per grade? I thought that was already a thing

Do you have to read it in class? Bring a smaller book and read that while everyone else reads Macbeth.

My school actually already has set books per grade. Every Freshman reads Romeo and Juliet, Of Mice and Men, To Kill a Mockingbird, and The Odyssey. Sophomores read Night, Twelve Angry Men, A Raisin in the Sun, and A Lesson Before Dying. And the list goes on and on and on xD
