Confession time
I have literally no idea what I'm doing in my EM physics. I can read the book, copy the formulas, recognize when to cancel units, and somehow I come up with the right answer but I have absolutely no idea why it's right. And it scares me.

First thing first, do you understand the formulas?
Like to you know why it is like that, how it's built

nope
no idea why they are the way they are. Well...I can follow a step-by-step equation breakdown but once you take my book away I'm just as lost as my 12 year old brother.

I also have 3 tests this week and just came down with what feels like a very heavy cold.

Then that is the problem
You must understand the first basic formula and then from it, build up more complex, long ones
That is a good way to learn formula, remember the first and you can build the followings yourself
