Anyone heard of Black Desert Online? I've heard it's good but I want reviews before I drop $30 on it (not like I haven't payed more on F2P games lol).

In the same boat as you. Looks nice, and seems to be different from a WoW cloned mmo, but I have yet to hear anything about it.

I actually heard of it through Sword Art Online's reddit lol. Someone recommended it as an MMO with similar features (no fast travel, dodge mechanics, customize looks, ect). But the thing that really caught my eye were the graphics and I was thinking that a game with that much work put into the water texture can't be TOO bad of a game.

If they put even half of that effort into the game as they did for the water texture, it would be a high quality game. It has my interest, but I'll wait for a bit to see if I'll spend money to get it.
