For the first day he's supposed to come over, just don't go home for a few hours if that's possible. Maybe if your mom is around him while he's waiting for you to show up at your house then she will see and call it off

This is how bff is made in movies, you both have to hate each other until you slowly learn more about each other. Go on some type of adventure together, learning that he's actually a pretty cool guy. At the end of the fourth day, you two will be like brothers. It happens in the movies all the time, trust me it'll be good.

Just confront the guy and tell him that he's nice and all but you don't know him like that so it makes you uncomfortable when he's at your house.
