What I was trying to say is mostly, go find friends that you can and want to be interested in. Don't try to make yourself look like something or not, because you will either end up losing the friend or deterring potential friends and make yourself seem like a douche cannon. What I thought you meant matthewg, is that there are people who are interested in things you either aren't interested in, (which is fine) or you think is stupid, (which is also fine).

I read it out of context and not as a reply so my train of thought was if they make it difficult to be interested in them it isn't worth your time
