So I just found out awhile ago that my bf's mom may possibly have cancer. Our prom is in a few weeks, so I'll be at my bf's house. I would like to do something for his mom, but I'm not sure what or if I should do anything. I'm don't know if his mom wants to be reminded. Any suggestions or thoughts?

How long have you been with the boyfriend? Do you have any kind of relationship with his mom?

We've been together between two and three months. I've only met his mom once.

A card or some nice words would be appropriate. But encouraging ones, not all sympathetic. Or bring food. My grandpa was diagnosed last year with cancer X and literally everyone brings the house food. A simple heat up dinner or something would probably be nice
