I'm making a wall scroll out with some fabric and wooden dowel rods. I'm wondering if I should see or fabric glue the ends to run the rods through. And I also need to slim the fabric down, but have no idea how to cut it straight or if I need to fold and sew after I cut, or if I should just fold it and sew.

What kind of fabric are you using? How much fabric do you need to trim off the sides to make it fit?

I'm not sure what kind it is, I got it at hobby lobby I think it's a citten and polyester blend though... I need to take about half a foot off maybe. Well, 6 inches for it to be the size I want, that's not taking hemming or anything into consideration

I'd trim it on the sides first and then fold and sew them and I'd sew it around the rods.

Thank you! I just really know so little about it. I appreciate your input :) I think I can manage that
