I prefer it like this. If it really is a repost it will also get people to stop arguing on whether it was on here before or not. This would be proof enough.

The black thing around the watermark will be darker as its currently semi transparent so you will be able to tell even though its on the same spot

I asking how will it make it obvious when something is a repost when everything has the same watermark automatically applied in the same place? Also, what about when it the same picture from different sources? Not really sure how this is going to help, but at least they are trying.

Not every picture has that watermark. I swear it's only there if the pic is repost from this site. Lots of people can just save images from here and submit it again. Isn't it when this happens that the watermark shows? And I don't know how it will work from other sources. We need to try that to see or ask the fs team.
