Demon do you draw out what you're modeling before you start? Like front snd side views?

No, because, and I've had it confirmed by many universities, I'm crap at art. I usually model things I've seen or ideas that pop into NY head. I've done basic blueorint polygon modelling using other peoples vector drawings, but I primarily model by eye. I'd love to show some stuff, but FS doesnt allow image transfer

Ooh, I'm also artistically-impaired but I feel like it'd be harder to create something if you don't have 2D references. Like I'm wanting to make this cartoony character to practice animation with, but I can't exactly get what I have in mind on paper. Anyway, I'd love to see your stuff. Can we not post links in chats?

When I am modelling things such as Tanks, it always helps to keep a reference, or when i model scenery i keep objects close by (like the brandy glass for my photorealistic kitchen) , but unfortunately I cannot model people yet. Tried a million times over with no luck.
When I get home, I'll post some stuff on imgur and link them here :)

You'll find that most of the stuff i have rendered are expirments with light anf shape, and theres a few renders from my EPQ project
