I know they're not real people (most of the time), but it still gets to me. Like, they get to live in a world where everything resolves in the way you want it. I think another thing for me is that once something ends, you don't know what happens to the characters after that. Like you only got a glimpse of their world. And even though they're fictional, it still gets to me.

Yeah especially if the series has been on for a long time.

Deal with it by finding another show thats similar. Otherwise take a break from that genre and look for something else thats also good.
