His country is going in a direction he does not necessarily agree with, one that he feels that he cannot lead without reservations. Would it have been better to be in the EU? Where member states will lose all right to self govern, and have to submit eventually to the council in Brussels? Would it have been better to plod along with the EU telling you what to do and not do, while you cannot protest any change because you have no voice, because sovereignty is no longer an option? Time will tell if the citizens of Britain will eventually grow into their new world, or if doomsayers are right in the prediction of the Isles sinking into the sea.
