Being a furry and liking animals are very similar and almost the same.
If you like animals doing human things, then that is furry stuff, but regular, SFW furry things.
Liking animals can just be "hey, that dog is cute".
But if it's a dog driving to work, and you like to find more of that kind of thing, then you can call yourself a furry.
Not every furry has sexual ideas about the fandom, and you are very closed-minded if you think that. That's like assuming every single person that watches Family Guy derives sexual pleasure from the show; you don't know the meaning of the word furry, so stop fucking acting like you do.

Its pretty narrowminded to assume one instance is true for all variables. You can say for yourself that anime is pedophilic in nature, and that's fine, because that is a rule that applies for you. It's impolite and rude to tell someone media they enjoy is terrible, when media does very little to change behavior. Me watching pornos about domination over women doesn't make me a sexist, its just a kink. If anything it is a lie when people say media changes people. Characters like lolis don't create pedophiles: Pedophiles go looking for such things. And if someone is a lolicon, they'll go looking for 2D waifus before they go looking for children, because I doubt pedophiles make up a huge part of lolicon population.
