Here's the thing forda. Christianity was a very conquering religion and so is Islam. However, christianity has been very throughly subdued by society with the LGBT gaining rights for people with different sexual orientations. It has become more relaxed in some places, some pastors/preacher/figures of authority welcoming in this new age, like Pope Francis. Muslims are on that same brink. American Muslims more so. All religion has people who don't condone harm, even muslims. The problem is that the terror groups who claim Islamic ties are not actually incorrect in their beliefs. They follow the part of the Quran that allows them to kill and pillage like the thugs they are. But the sa,e thing with the Bible. It says to stone gays, but who here in America kills a gay? It might happen, but it would be a infrequent incident, and a serious crime. Places like Saudi Arabia? The law there will let you kill People of LGBT freely with no drawbacks.

don't look at your muslim friends like they are the enemy. If anything, use that sight to learn about ISIS and extreminism. It's not wrong in what its telling, but are your friends really doing all that? Christians pick and choose what verses they want to follow, same with Islam. Your friends are a very, very unlikely threat, if they even somehow qualify as one. You know that the Pope Francis won't judge a gay man trying to find god, but you also know that Westboro Baptist Church are a bunch of fucking cunts. There are definitely examples like that in Islamic faith too. I wouldn't lose faith in christianic because of WBC, because Francis is doing a good job so far.
