Find the socially awkward people on their phones and never let them go. They are our people.

I didn't think any school anywhere started until September?
1)I'd keep yourself to yourself until you find people like yourself or the socially awkward (as @barbaragordon suggested).
2) Always be yourself. Don't try to create an image or change yourself to fit in, it's not worth it in the end. If people don't like you for who you are then they're not worth your time.
3) Don't let people use you.
4) When you do make friends with someone don't distance yourself from them or be cruel to them because the "popular" kids don't like them.
5) If you're being bullied or picked on there's no shame in telling a teacher. They may bully you worse but it can't be stopped if you don't let them know. It'll eventually stop.
6) If you're bullied, talk to someone. You're not alone.
7) Don't be afraid to stand up for yourself or your friends.
8) Study hard and ALWAYS do your homework.
9) Have fun with your friends.
10) Try your hardest! Even if you don't like certain subjects!

I'm in the same boat bro (had my first day as a freshman today) but Its a small school and I knew people so it wasn't bad. But about the bullying thing, telling a teacher or something usually won't ever do any good. That just shows weakness and if you don't stand up do them makes it worse
