Those things are cool. My friend just shaves hers and doesn't put a design on it (her hair is curly and thicker than the poor moms in the "yo momma" jokes), she wears her hair down and no one knows. She wears it up and people think it's weird to not have a little something -but she does it herself so...that's be hard-. Bottom line is if you think it's cool, then people will think you either a) don't care what they think and leave you alone b) think you're cool for having the guts to do that and either compliment you or leave you alone or c)say something about how it's not their thing, and you get to walk away as they stare at it. If people do think it's weird then those might not be the people you wanna hang out with. Get you a bunch that's fine with you doing you. I recently graduated, I think they're cool, it's also cool if you don't have them. If it makes you happy, either with how it looks or how it feels, that's really all that matters.

I definitely like the design concept. Also, who give a rat's rear what they think. If you really want it, do it. This is the time in your life to try new things. Besides, if you get it and don't like it, it will grow out quickly enough, its hair, that's what it does
