I like Happy Gilmore a lot. I actually really like all his films. Or at least all the ones I've seen. I just finished ridiculous 6. Although it's not great it gets better and it's just laughs from them sure the first 30 minutes were a cringe fest but from then on I was laughing all the way.

They're nearly as good as they used to be, but since are still decent I suppose.

So I'm from South Africa (the place where the movie was shot), and I'm white so my opinion doesnt really matter here. But south africa has no problem with the film. In fact we have a sunday night movie every sunday and it was one of the most advertised sunday movie ever. Basically the whole of SA was watching it. Nobody complained.
