The movies are never like the books, ever. If you watch a movie expecting it to be like the book, you're terribly naïve. But the HG movies are still excellent. They may not be as good as the books, but they're certainly enjoyable.

Great gatsby was pretty close to the book

Maybe I should read that next

The first two movies are pretty accurate.

HAHA, some parts aren't even close

I like Hunger Games, but I do not like the romance in it. By the way, Battle Royale is so much better in my opinion despite the gore and violence of it.

How Rue dies, the Mutts, Gale confessing his love, meeting the 2 girls from District 8, Thread putting the fence back on, Katniss hurting herself, the talk with Thresh, the talk with the chick from District 1/2/4 when she attacks Katniss, and so much more. I'm only halfway through the 2nd book

Oh, so you expect the directors to put every single detail of the book in the movie? Well then, I hope you have enough free time because a movie like that is gonna keep on playing for a while.

I suggested they make it into a season for each book, like they did for Stephen King's The Stand

Ooh, you suggested? To whom exactly? The directors? And were ou perhaps also willing to finance the venture? And provide the special effects?

To my mom, we're both book and movie lovers.
