Honestly, this is all so dumb. Certain people feel inadequate; they know their lives are boring and monotonous, so they constuct ludicrous fantasies about themselves to feel special. These delusions of grandeur are very convenient; no-one would deny said person in public, because that's how society works. These people have communites online, others just like them, others who "get them". And finally, the aforementioned inadequacies can be immediately crushed by simply blaming these flaws on 'the big universities' or the media. This is a huge problem. It is my belief that nearly everyone can be helped. If we want to help them out of the self pitying pit (say that 5 times fast) in which they love, we must first understand them. We can't end all of their discrimination by bashing them online, because caps lock doesn't make people listen to reason. If we appeal to what they

desire, which is individuals who "get them", then that is where people like me come in. We would truly understand them. Of course, we wouldn't convince everyone, because that self pitying pit has become more than just a home to them; it has become part of them, and they have chosen their identities. Nowadays, everyone picks an identity. Some take it to the next level. Those people need to stop.
