I mean this in that I have a hard time reading books because I can't imagine the environment the characters are in. And when people talk about their homes and their lives I constantly only think about my actual home and people I know instead of imagining people and homes. Is this normal or am I weird?

Banana you're fine, some people just can't imagine a life that isn't their own because that's all they're used to, but you'll grow out of it

I hope I do. It's not easy not being able to imagine different environments.

I'm the same, I can only visualise places I've seen.

That's totally fine banana, some people just can't do that because the part of their brain where all the spacial thinking and stuff is just developed differently. It's common for people like this to be better at things that involve logical and analytical thinking, so don't worry. It's just ya brain man and it's normal

Good, because I consider myself a very logical person. I just can't really imagine things.

Well there ya go! It's okay, my friend is the same, she can't imagine a table in her head but she's still very smart

I have a very bad artistic imagination but damn if I'm not good at imagining a perfect soul mate. Except I can never see their face which makes me sad.
