"Go ask Alice" by anonymous
It's supposed to be an actual diary of a teenage girl in the 60s (I think it might be 50s) and it talks about her going through depression and her experimenting with drugs, it goes to some pretty dark places. It's a good read, I really liked it.

I don't have any books like that (though I have wanted to read some), but I know of some good psychological, dark, twisted, (kind-of) thrillers.
Dead to You, by Lisa McMann - This is about a boy who was abducted from his front yard at 7 years old. He returns to his family at sixteen

*he returns to his family at 16, but soon after, nothing is going how he imagined.
~Stained, by Cheryl Rainfield, is about a girl who is bullied for a port-wine stain on her face. She is abducted, and has to face abuse by a deranged killer.
~Truth or Dare, by Jacqueline Green, is a book about three girls who are receiving messages from an anonymous person. These messages threaten the girls to do something, or else their biggest secrets are spilled. (It's really a great book/series.)

You might want to read the synopsis of those books, because I'm really bad at explaining them...

Okay, I got this book today called Suicide Notes, by Michael Thomas Ford. I just finished it, and it's beyond words. It's a really great book about this fifteen-year-old boy named Jeff. He has to go through a 45-day program in a psychiatric ward after attempting to commit suicide. A warning: there are some sexual scenes, but they are very brief. Anyway, he meets all these different, crazy people, and learns a lot of things about life and love. (His sarcasm is amazing, by the way). There are a lot of lessons in this book the people in general should learn.
