My mate asked a question why white people arent considered immigrants in africa because he genuinely didnt know, i know he's and immigrant so I decided to make a joke that "arent you from kenya" as in arent you an immigrant. So this iter big black kid in our class gets super offenddd and ya know because he gets offended and I'm white I'm the wrong one. He got offended because i used kenya and he saw it as me shitting on kenya because his parents are from there. Fuck me right?

I don't really think there is a way to avoid that situation besides explaining it. People are hard headed and almost take everything as if it's a racist statement. People at my school are more chill about racism cause we insult ourselves in the process and people don't get as offended. And you gotta act bigger and tougher than that big black guy. Don't act like he can push you around, stand your ground. I'm not sure how serve this situation was or how much bigger this guy was. What is your age?
